Timeline Progmatic Industriële Automatisering

  • Founding

    In 1984, Ger Kommers founded Progmatic from his kitchen at home in Halsteren. Progmatic was born out of a drive to do things differently and a passion for technology.

  • Own visualization system

    At the request of our clients, Progmatic developed its own visualization system called the ‘Progmatic Visualisering Systeem,’ abbreviated to PVS. PVS ran on DOS. The clients who became fans of Progmatic back then are still fans today.

  • Moved to Steenbergen

    In 2000, Progmatic moved to its current location. This relocation provided us with the opportunity to expand further and assist more clients.

    To better support our clients, we developed a modern, flexible product that integrates rich customer experiences, focuses on scalability, and offers a complete solution from HMI to SCADA and MES functionalities in a web-based environment. This allows access to information anytime and anywhere, without unnecessary complexity.

  • Management buy-out

    In 2021, a significant change took place at Progmatic: three experienced employees, Victor, Markus, and Rob, took over the company. Together, they bring more than 40 years of experience at Progmatic, demonstrating their deep knowledge and commitment to the business.
